From Marie Iannotti, your Guide to Gardening

This week's Gardening Question of the Week was a poll asking Do You Rotate Your Crops? If your vegetable garden is more of a plot, like mine, you might have a hard time considering a tee-pee of beans a 'crop', but it is still possible to rotate to a degree and so far, most people have said they do. What about you? Any tips for how to make it easier?

Gardening Tip of the Week

Tree Leaves: It's amazing how many people rake their leaves, place in bags and put on curb. I haul them off and use in my garden at no cost. You also have a happy neighbor! Submitted by Roland Contreras Thank you to everyone who shared a tip. Keep them coming!

Now's a good time to check you houseplants for dusty leaves and signs of being pot bound. Once you get them all cleaned up, snap some shots and post them in the Feb/March Photo Challenge Houseplants. It's too easy to take your houseplants for granted. Show them some love by showing them off.

Got a gardening question? The place to ask it is on the About Gardening Forum. Please be aware that I am not always able to respond to emailed questions in a timely fashion.

And don't forget, you can connect with me on Twitter and Facebook, too.
