Valentine's Day, Easter and Mother's Day are huge holidays for the cut flower industry. I think a lot of that has to do with so many people who are waiting for any sign of spring. If you were lucky enough to get a bouquet, here are some tips for keeping them blooming. And it's always a good time to think about growing your own cut flowers.

Gardening Tip of the Week

Muching with Shrub Trimmings: When trimming my evergreen shrubs, I collect the trimmings and place them in the garden to heighten the mulch and enrich the soil. Submitted by S. Bennett
