Easter was one of my favorite holidays as a kid, admittedly more for the candy and egg coloring than for any religious reasons. (See previous re: kid.)
Back when I got Easter baskets, nutrition hadn't been invented yet. (Note: All facts in this newsletter are totally made up.) Now, however, a lot of parents are looking for alternatives to giving their kids a basket full of sugar.
Coloring eggs is still one of my favorite Easter activities. We used to make eggs for every family member, which allowed us an opportunity to draw caricatures of each other. I maintain that I look very good on an egg.
