From Franny Syufy, your Guide to Cats

Happy Vernal Equinox, cat lovers! Today, we're doing some "Spring cleaning," by throwing out the antiquated Email photo submittal process, and substituting 80 Ways to Share Pictures on the About.com Cats site. In time, there will be 100 Ways or more, so hold on for the ride!

80 Ways to Share Cat Pictures

Out with the old, and in with the new. From now on, all you will need to do is select one or more of the Show and Tell Cat Picture opportunities listed in 80 Ways to Share Cat Pictures, click on the link to the online form, fill in the text blanks, and upload up to two pictures. I receive daily notices of all Show and Tell pictures submitted, and if you fill in the optional field for your email address, you should receive an automatic notice with 1-4 days with a link to your published cat picture. The cat picture shown here, is Sunshine, a cat submitted to the Life With White Cats Show and Tell.

Funniest Cat Pictures: White Head and His PomPom

From Nathalie, About.com Guest: "I rescued "White Head" along with his 3 siblings, from a man who couldn't take care of them and was going to kill them. The names are temporary since they are to be given away to new homes. I have been fostering them for nearly 3 months. White Head has already gone to a wonderful home, but I miss his crazy personality! This picture shows it!

I was throwing the red pompom around and trying to get the best shot. They were certainly not cooperating! So 100 blurry shots later, I got this one which happened so fast I honestly didn't see his tongue until I looked at the picture! Somehow I managed to click at the right billionth of a second!"

Container Cats: Garfield Cooling
From gllock, About.com Member: "Being a Maine Coon he has 3 layers of very long hair and gets very warm in the summertime even with the air conditioning on. I guess he decided he was still warm and he climbed into the sink to cool off. He is looking at me as if to say 'you don't need this sink right now do you Mom?'"

Reader Gem of the Week: Komatose Kittens

This kitten picture is so sweet, cute, and screamingly funny that I had to give it front page spotlight attention this week. The kittens were fostered kittens named Sapphire, Pete, and Repeat, and they were three months old at the time of the picture. They appear in the Silly Sleeper Cats Picture Gallery. Thank you so much, Greg, for bringing sunshine into a cold, rainy Friday!
