I have ever experienced very very slowly computer working. I tried to find why, for about a month later I found that there was a parameter in IDE Channel changed. I'm using XP OS, I must set the "DMA is avaible" in device manager to normalize the computer working. It is OK until now. So here, your post is nice sharing.
