Modern Design Zephyros Villa by Koutsoftides Architects Posted: 25 Jun 2011 07:08 PM PDT Located in a sloping area of a hill in Pomos, Cyprus. The Zephyros Villa was designed by Koutsoftides Architects. This villa was originally designed as a vacation home, but during the building process, the owners decided to leave London and stay in Cyprus on permanent vacation. The villa faces north at the small fishing harbor of Pomos and surrounded by beautiful view of green forest and the lake. The main floor is villa divided into two by inserting in the middle a generous patio and a pool, where the family can do interaction each other and give some space to relax indoors. Design an attractive sliding roof gives an important role for the lighting villa interior design. The designer tried to extrude those elements which would contribute and reflect these thoughts so building and landscape become one:to receive at any time of the day and night,regardless season the glorious sun,the Zephyros,the majestic blue sea and the mysterious silver moon of August,as when we were kids going camping and enjoying nature,so the users can embrace all the elements under one… permanent camping tent.
