| | Sunday is Mothers' Day, and I'll celebrate it in the same way I have every year since my own Mom passed away: by donating to a local cat rescue for the spay/neuter of a rescued cat. Happy Mothers Day to all the Moms of both human and fur-bearing kids! And if you have a female cat or kitten, please do the kind, responsible thing by having her spayed at your earliest opportunity. They deserve nothing less. | | Cat Videos on About.com The About.com Video Team uses professional video producers to provide a visual supplement to About.com Cats content. This list of cat videos give the viewer a look at experts with live cats demonstrating various cat topics. Covered are cat breeds, cat care, and a number of instructive "how to" videos, including How to Bathe a Cat, and How to Change a Litter Box. Each video includes a written transcript underneath the video window, for ready reference. These are the current twelve most popular cat videos on my site. About.com Cats presently provides 33 videos, with other video topics in the works. Eventually, this list will contain all of the cat videos on About.com. Because Islamabad is such a large, densely-populated city, the cats are kept indoors. Their life is not much different than that of indoor cats in North America, as standards have much improved when Aheesha was growing up. The cats were mostly outdoors then, and litter boxes filled with dirt. They were fed meat scraps, the outdoor cats were not vaccinated, and vet visits were for emergencies only. Today, there are commercial canned cat foods, but Ayesha says they are of such poor quality, that she is now making their food, to assure they get all the nutrients they need. The litter box is filled with commercial (clay) cat litter, which Ayesha say is better than dirt. Read Calvin and Pixie's full story and see their pictures. I've experienced this kind of joy with several cats over the years, and my Jaspurr and Joey, at nine, are already approaching the cusp of their Golden Years, too. My online course will help serve as guideposts, as I watch their progress. For those who prefer email versions, the complete course is also available by email, with either daily or weekly delivery.
